Types of Nebosh Course in Saudi Arabia

The National Examination Board in Occupational Safety and Health – NEBOSH, an awarding body was established in 1979. NEBOSH provides internationally recognized health safety and environmental course which are important for workplace safety.

Every year thousands of students and professionals from all over the world take up this course to succeed in their business and the NEBOSH examination takes place in more than 120 countries throughout the world.

There are 3 different levels of NEBOSH qualifications

1.Award level           2.Certificate level           3.Diploma level

NEBOSH award in Health and Safety at workplace aids the employees to identify common hazards in work environment like fire, transport, electricity, manual handling, hazardous materials and work place. Employees are advisable to take 18 hours of tuition time and 8 hours of self-study.

NEBOSH HSE Certificate in PSM (Process Safety Management) is a specific course which was jointly designed by NEBOSH board and Health and Safety Executive (HSE). This course aims at people who work in process industries like manufacturing, oil& gas, chemical, pharmaceuticals.

The goal of this course is to give mixture of management and engineering skills in order to effectively manage the incidents which results from hazardous substance or any other sources. This course also covers the importance of process safety management in process industry by means of empowering the candidates to do their work at their workplace effectively and safely.

NEBOSH IGC offers an excellent foundation in occupational health safety and environmental management issues to make you as safety expert in your desired industry. This course is a common choice among supervisors, managers etc. and there are no any special requirements to join this course other than good knowledge in English language. After the completing of NEBOSH course one can apply for Technical Membership of IOSH (Tech IOSH), and associate membership of the IIRSM. The NEBOSH IGC has 3 units : IGC1, GC2,GC3 (practical assessment)

The internationally recognized and the highest qualification in NEBOSH is NEBOSH International Diploma, level 6 qualification. If you wish to get Chartered (CMIOSH) status then, this course is mandatory. It is recommended to do NEBOSH IGC before taking up NEBOSH International Diploma. NEBOSH certificate can be gained by registering yourself in an accredited course provider like Green World Group and choose suitable mode of learning either regular class room mode or distance learning via virtual class room training. You can access virtual class room training by being in any part of the world which save travel time and cost. After completing the course you can take up the examination in your nearby British Council proposed NEBOSH examination centers. The result of NEBOSH can be known after 45 working days of completing the exam.
