Qualification Overview
Diploma in Food Safety is aimed at professionals in the field of food and drink manufacturers such as managers, supervisors and engineers in manufacturing business, quality assurance workers or HACCP team. The qualification is ideal for those who are already associated with manufacturing, or those who are preparing to join the industry, or whose job requires them to have some responsibilities towards food safety. The course gives learners necessary skills to critically analyse, implement and ensure effective HACCP system at workplaces. The participants are also trained to implement managerial responsibilities necessary for an operational team.
The food safety course provides participants an in-depth understanding on food hygiene, hazards and controls and developing, implementing and monitoring food safety procedures.
The topics included in the diploma course are in line with the approval of Foods Standards Agency that are important in maintaining good practice in safe production of food.
Topics Covered
Candidates/ Delegates who successfully complete and obtain the National Diploma Course (approved by the Govt. of India) could further apply for a membership status with IIRSM. Awarding of the membership is at the discretion of IIRSM provided they have met the required guidelines for the same.
Certificates & Mark lists are issued to all successful candidates by Central Board of Examination & National Development agency, Government of India.

When will I get the certification?
Successful students are issued certificates within 30 days from the date of announcement of results. Certificates & Mark lists will be provided by Central Board of Examination & National Development agency of Government of India. Additional certificates will be provided to those who cleared the exams with distinction and first class.
